Terms of Use

Last updated: October 5, 2026

These Terms of Use apply to your use of DIY Halloween Decorations (“the site”, “we”). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

What the site provides

The site publishes free guides, project ideas and tutorials about handmade Halloween decorations for general information and personal enjoyment. We work to keep the instructions clear and accurate, but we do not guarantee that every guide is free of errors or that you will get a particular result by following it. Materials, tools, rooms and weather vary, so the sizes, quantities and times in the guides are approximate examples to adapt to your own project.

Safety

Craft projects carry ordinary risks, and you are responsible for your own setup and for judging whether a project suits your home, your skills and the people and animals around you. In particular:

  • Sharp tools. Scissors, craft knives, wire cutters and pins should be used with care, stored safely and handled by an adult.
  • Hot glue. Glue guns and melted glue can burn. They are for adult use, on a protected surface.
  • Lighting. The guides use flameless battery or solar lights only. Do not substitute an open flame, especially near paper, fabric or dried materials.
  • Small parts. Beads, pins, batteries, wire offcuts and small decorations should be kept away from young children.
  • Pets. Keep yarn, string, ribbon, small pieces and decorated pumpkins out of reach of pets.
  • Trip hazards. Keep steps, paths, doorways and walkways clear of decorations, cords and loose pieces.
  • Outdoor conditions. Wind, rain and sun affect lightweight decorations. Secure them, check them regularly and bring paper and fabric pieces inside in bad weather.

Decorated jars and painted pumpkins are decoration only and are not for food or drink. Follow the label instructions of any product you use. The site offers general craft information; it does not give professional advice of any kind, including electrical, fire safety, building, medical or legal advice.
